Resurrection University President, Beth A. Brooks, is featured in the March issue of Catholic Health World and discusses the benefits of hiring bachelor’s degree-holding nurses in relation to quality patient outcomes. The article, “Flexible Programs, Tuition Breaks Help Nurses Pursue Bachelor’s Degrees,” focuses on the difficulty that nurses with associate’s degrees often face when trying to advance their careers. These problems, such high tuition and lack of time when balancing a full-time job, often make going back to school nearly impossible.
