Alumni Holiday Event Brings Warm Clothing to Needy Families
A large group of young alums gathered at Healy’s Westside Tavern on Thursday, December 13, 2012 to meet up with classmates and bring some joy to needy families. Every alum who attended brought along a children’s hat, scarf, gloves or mittens which were donated to the Salvation Army on behalf of the Resurrection University Alumni Association. Everyone enjoyed the festive evening which included an open bar, a light buffet, and a holiday gift, a ResU “Harry Potter” winter scarf. Resurrection University faculty and staff were also in attendance.
“It was great to see my friends,” said Jessica Van Kempen, December Class of 2011. “Everyone had a great time. These events are really fun!”
