Each year, Resurrection University Awards students, from both the College of Health Sciences and the College of Nursing, an Academic and a Clinical Excellence Award. Award recipients are nominated by Resurrection University faculty.
Academic Excellence Award
The Academic Excellence award is given to an undergraduate student for academic performance while growing as a professional. Nominees must have fulfilled at least 40 hours of residency at the University and earned a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 point scale.

Clinical Excellence Award
The Clinical Excellence award is given to the undergraduate who performs accurately and implements evidence-based interventions appropriate to the administrative and clinical situation. In the case of a clinical situation, undergraduates care for patients of diverse cultures with a variety of needs. Award recipients are students whose actions and behaviors reflect our University’s core values as well as adhere to professional practice, legal and ethical standards.
