Bachelor of Science in Imaging Technology (BSIT) Program
Resurrection University’s Saint Francis School of Radiography (SFSOR) offers the only JRCERT accredited BSIT program in Chicago. This Radiography Program is for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the rapidly growing field of Medical Imaging and Radiography.
In addition to General Radiography Fluoroscopy and Surgery and Portable Bedside Exams, you will have the opportunity to experience specialized imaging including Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Cath Lab, PET Scan, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound (USD), Computerized Tomography (CT), and Interventional Radiography.
The Saint Francis School of Radiography is committed to excellence in education. We provide the healthcare community with competent, entry-level professionals in the field of Medical Imaging. The graduate acquires the knowledge and clinical experience necessary to qualify for the National Registry examination.
Your Career as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist
After you successfully complete the BSIT program, you will receive your Bachelor of Science in Imaging Technology Degree and be fully prepared to pass the National Licensure Examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
As a Licensed Radiologic Technologist, you will assist practitioners in disease diagnosis and injury assessment through administering x-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds or MRIs. The field and the technologies are evolving rapidly and you will have the opportunity to build your career at the forefront of the latest advances in Radiography and Imaging.

Students will summarize their professional development career plan.
Curriculum follows the guidelines specified by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Students have patient contact throughout the program beginning with the completion of the Introduction to Radiography course.
